Dr. Pawan Kumar is an Associate Professor of Physics and the Assistant Dean-Academic Affairs at Chandigarh University, Mohali, India. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, India. With over a decade of experience spanning teaching, research, and academic administration, Dr. Kumar has established himself as a dedicated academic leader and active researcher. His research focuses on the synthesis and functionalization of Low dimensional ZnO nanostructures and ZnO‑polymer composites for applications in optoelectronic devices, UV detectors, sensors, and next‑generation 3D printing devices. He has authored over 60 publications in reputed SCI‑ and Scopus‑indexed international journals and book chapters, making significant contributions to the fields of materials science and applied physics.
