Dr. Engr. Areez Khalil Memon is a Lecturer at Dawood University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan, holding a Ph.D. in Optical Engineering with over ten years of academic and industrial experience. His research focuses on reconfigurable optical devices, integrated photonics, and optical biosensing. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), where he developed polymer-based planar lightwave circuit reconfigurable mode converters and (de)multiplexers achieving 90% conversion efficiency across the C-L band. His work has been published in leading journals such as IEEE Photonics Technology Letters and Applied Optics. He has authored over 20 papers, serves as a reviewer for several journals, and has been involved in research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
