Dr. Pooja Sharma holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Computational Chemistry) from Sharda University and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Chandigarh University, India. Her research focuses on first‑principles DFT investigations of perovskite materials for photovoltaic applications, aiming to develop efficient and stable lead‑free solar cells as sustainable energy solutions for developing nations. She has published over 20 SCI papers in journals such as Journal of Materials Science, Materials Today Sustainability, and Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics, with additional papers under review or communicated. Dr. Sharma has delivered more than ten oral presentations at international conferences and serves as a reviewer for Bulletin of Materials Science and other journals. With over seven years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, she has organized computational chemistry workshops and international conferences, and is actively involved in student mentoring, curriculum management, and academic evaluation.
