Dr. Farah Ezzah Ab Latif holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Biochemical-Biotechnology from the International Islamic University Malaysia, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Sunway Centre for Electrochemical Energy and Sustainable Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University. Her research interests focus on the synthesis and characterization of two-dimensional materials, the development of binary and ternary nanocomposites based on 2D materials, carbonaceous materials, and metal oxides, electrochemical sensors, hydrogen evolution reaction, as well as sustainable and green energy technologies. She has achieved remarkable academic accomplishments, publishing numerous high-quality papers in internationally renowned journals such as Coordination Chemistry Reviews, Tribology International, and Journal of Molecular Structure. Her research covers the applications of MXene-based nanomaterials in electrochemical sensing and tribology, as well as the production of bio-resins, which aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals and holds significant academic value and application potential in the fields of affordable and clean energy, industry, innovation and infrastructure, and climate action.
